- Contests & Challenges

This is the next two page spread for Maddie's first year album. I did a lot of fussy cutting so this is for the May Trends & Techniques Challenge - Cut it Out. The scalloped trim running across the top, the wavy section at the bottom of the left page, the striped "baby" section along the right side of the right page, the "baby girl" with the star and butterfly, the elephant with the tree and butterfly, and the "we love you" with the turtle are all fussy cut from patterned papers. TFL.
The journaling box on top of the one picture reads: We thought you looked so much like your mommy when she was born that I brought in a picture of her and held it next to you. The resemblance was so incredible that we fooled your daddy by telling him that while he was gone the hospital took a picture of you.
Papers: Heidi Grace Baby collection, Creative Imagination Studio Basics 101 Zoe collection, Marcella by K Monkey Around paper pad, Imaginisce Baby Powder Oopsie Daisy, Sandylion, Bazzill Cardstock in Emma, and Creative Imaginations Studio Basics 101 Zoe Cardstock
Embellishments: Flowers and chipboard from Heidi Grace Baby collection, charms and cardstock tags, stickers, and other embellishments from K & Company Sweat Pea Studio, Doodlebug brads Spring Flowers, Doodlebug twine in Cupcake, Zva Pearl Flourishes in Pink, Creative Charms Metal and Mesh flowers in Pink, and Sandylion Girl Foam alpha
I used my Cuttlebug with Nestabilities Petite Scalloped Circles and Lacy Circles dies
