Windmills

by SandyJayMay 18, 2026
Our recent trip to the Netherlands. I made a full sheet of watercolor in rainbow colors, splattered it and then cut it for the sunburst. Cut file from Cricut. Branding strips from 49 & Market and Echo Park. Embellishment chipboard from 49 & Market.

Products Used

This project uses products from ACOT, Bazzill, Tonic Studios, 49 and Market

I am awed and super inspired by this amazing page! This went straight into my favorites as fast as I could click that heart icon.

Love, love, LOVE that beautiful watercolor paper you made. It is super special to start with, and beyond that, it is doubly amazing to me because you also managed to find the "highest and best use" for it. That sunburst turned out delightful! Well done!

(Maybe it is just me, but when I occasionally manage to make one of those mixed media papers that turns out stunning, the next hardest part is actually using it, without ruining it.)

Also love the droplets on your photo, and the barcode strips, and all the amazing little details that you included. Thanks so much for sharing this!

Thank you for your 5 star review, hahaha! I am happy it inspired you, I look forward to seeing your rendition. What happens is I start some mixed media project for a page, then it doesn’t turn out the way I want, so I hold it until another day.
