This is a picture of my 7 year old neice after she got her hair cut after growing it for 3 years.
Journaling reads: You wanted to grow your hair long like princess Fiona on Shrek. So for a few years you only had it trimmed. It was very long and you looked beautiful. Then one day you came home from school and decided you wanted it short. So mom took you to get it cut. You still looked beautiful.
