First of all, I have to say how much this means to me. Nathan is a very young first grader and there have been times in Kindergarten and First Grade when I have wondered about his academic ability regarding reading and writing (he's a math whiz)...so for him to be reading and writing on target right now is a big deal to me. When he brings me notes and I can surmise what they are supposed to be saying, it's a great feeling!

Nathan brought me this note tonight and I COULD NOT resist scrapping it...David is my husband of one year and Nathan's stepdad LOL. The handwriting and journaling translation says:

Mom and Dad and that includes David I want a Wii Game System.
