I usually don’t remember to take a picture until AFTER everything is a mess, so I made a concerted effort this year to take pictures before and during the feast. Then I forgot to take the AFTER, so my planned before and after layout was a bust. But here we are, a relatively small group this year, but a wonderful day.

JOURNALING READS: The annual gathering of fans of the turkey (plus one token vegetarian) took place at our house this year. Even though we all prepared enough food for a small army, there were surprisingly few leftovers once we all got through eating. It was a great feast.
