Having lived in Florida for a couple of decades before I moved to Minnesota, I put a couple of super-tacky plastic flamingoes in my garden just for laughs. When we got a couple of inches of snow yesterday, I looked in the backyard and the poor things looked so pitiful wearing their dusting of snow. To make matters worse, DH put the snow gauge right behind the bird on the left. Good thing they’re plastic!
