I am still whittling away at my Christmas gift list. This one is a photo clipboard. It has magnets on the back, so the recipient can hang it from their refrigerator at home or the file cabinet at the office. The clip makes it possible to constantly change the photo being displayed without a major effort.

MATERIALS:
Digital kit
6 inch snips of ribbon, fiber, fabric, rickrack
Small magnets (I got mine at Michaels)
Adhesive

DIRECTIONS:
1. Purchase a 6 x 9 clipboard at a discount store or office supply store.
2. If desired, paint the clipboard to the desired color with acrylic paints. Let dry well.
3. In your graphics program, draw a rounded rectangle shape 9 inches high and 6 inches wide. This will be your template.
4. Insert papers, elements, letters, etc. onto your template until you are happy with the look.
5. Add drop shadows and any other special effects you wish.
6. Print the clipboard background on cardstock or a matte photo paper. Cut out along the line.
7. Measure and cut out around the top to make room for the clip.
8. Dry fit. You may laminate the piece if you wish.
9. Once you are satisfied with the fit, glue the clipboard background in place.
10. Tie coordinating ribbons, rickrac, fibers, or fabric pieces along the hole in the clip.
11. Attach four magnets to the back of the clipboard using a strong adhesive,
