for the I have a dream challenge... I've had a burden for quite a few years regarding our environment and the mess we're making of it. I volunteer with several organizations but still we seem to be on a uphill battle. My dream is simple one - that more people will realize the gift we have in Mother Earth and will stop taking advantage of her.

I used a large portion of MLK's speech for the journaling and paraphrased it. The photos were taken in 2008 across the world and are the direct effects of global climate change. The bottom photo is portion of the dead coral reef along the Florida coastline. The middle photo is, of course, a polar bear trapped on a piece of broken ice cap and left to drown at sea. The top photo is part of the Houston oil refineries during last summer's heat.
