My son at age 2. I tried sewing a lot more on this page. I liked the effect but would do it in sections. As a quilter went about it from a fabric standpoint but paper doesn't scrunch up as easily as fabric so was a little tricky going around each letter already adhered to 12x12 page

The black & white is fabric that was sold in paper sheets at Archiver's I don't remember who makes it.
