Today I’m sharing a layout created for one of the NSD challenges from The Crafty Maven Getaway.

This challenge focused on layering, so I built the page on a mixed media background using several different products and techniques to create texture and depth. I combined inks, acrylic products, sprays, and texture paste before adding layered papers, trim, and embellishments behind the photo.

I finished the page with a variety of textured details and dimensional elements to enhance the layered design. This was such a fun challenge to interpret creatively, and I really enjoyed watching all of the details come together on the final layout.
