Change
by ShadywolfeSep 6, 2010
This is for the Sept one word challenge, when I saw this challenge I knew what the subject matter would be right away. Sometimes the challenges really help bring focus to my feelings so I can put it on a page. A big TY to the CT here for that :)
The journaling is a definition of the word:
change
–verb (used with object) to make the form, nature, content, future course, etc., of (something) different from what it is or from what it would be if left alone: to change the course of history.
I added:
To change the course of life.
This is a picture of my bf and I at one of our favorite restaurants just after he got the ok to eat semi-normal again. He had a triple bypass about 4 weeks ago. When he was 16 he had hodgkin's lymphoma and the radiation they gave him to combat that damaged some of his arteries. Over the years it's deteriorated enough where he started to have major medical problems over the last year. When they finaly realised it wasn't his lungs, but his heart, they said he would not have survived past the week had they not finaly gotten it right. Once he was properly diagnosed they were able to fix him up pretty quickly. With that change to his body we are now able to go on with our lives. I chose this as the front page to a new album for the last half of this year.
