I made this card for the September Card challenge. Laura wanted us to make a rosette and use her sketch. I selected bits and pieces of patterned paper from the beautiful 49 & Market Vintage Artistry In the Leaves collection. I used two different washi tape for the rosette: a thin metallic bronze and a forest green honeycomb pattern. Laura's challenge forced me to dig out two pieces of crafting equipment that were covered in dust--my glue gun and sewing machine. Maybe I should use those more often now that they are dusted off. The stamped sentiment is heat embossed in bronze to compliment the rosette. I used 2 different dry embossing folders and scored lines on the solid rust tag. Sponged Tim Holtz DOX ink on the edges of the sentiment panel. the sentiment is from Technique Tuesday. The button is from Paper Trey Ink.
