This is for the Challenge #8. This is a photo of my kids grandparents with all their grandchildren and great grandchildren. The journaling says Grandpa Bob Grandma Shirley 8 Granddaughters 2 Great grandkids Lots of Good times. I spent so much time on this challenge that I really didn't get much else done!! I do like how it turned out though. The twine is hand stitched and tied in a bow where it crossed. The photo mat is core'dinations new whitewash and I LOVE IT!! I ran it through the cuttlebug even though the paper was too big - I knew I was distressing it also so it didn't matter that it got a little wrinkled. I machine stitched after it was all sanded and distressed. Then I popped it up on the layout. I stamped the tree and the decoration (under the G) with Unity stamps. The G is cut from the Calligraphy Cricut cart. The paper is BoBunny Delilah and Collage press (circle die cut paper). I added two Fancy Pants buttons, some lace and a flower. I added my journaling last (very late last night and was very disappointed that it didn't turn out as nice as I had envisioned!! The dark stripe was just too dark. Anyway thanks for looking.
