Why

by Deanna KrollAug 5, 2009
This was a hard layout for me to do, because ever since my divorce, I haven't scrapped a photo of my ex in any shape or form. This was enlightening and therapeutic for me to do. I know feel that I am ready to scrap photos of him again - for the sake of Gavin and get those photos that need to be scrapped, done. I am so happy this challenge came up, because without it, I may have postponed scrapping his photo forever. ;) TFL!

I am impressed that you scrapped this. It's been over 2 years and I still can't scrap anything that pertains to my "old" life.
Your LO is beautiful! Love the torn photo and the colors!

Your journaling is real - I like that and I'm glad it was therapeutic for you! You are really great to scrap your ex for your son.

I admire you for scrappin past the pain...I dont think I could do that. I cant even scrap my older kids when Im really mad at them. Love the style of the layout plus all that journaling. I think If I were to scrap my feelings on my divorce- it might come out ugly with horns stickers and daggers pointed at him, but kudos for you.

Beautiful journalling Deanna! Good for you to do this layout! It's beautiful, and the ripped pic with the journalling is very powerful.
