Genuine Boy *Frame Challenge*

by RitaSSep 22, 2008
Ideas to Note:
• Inks and paints were both used to colorize and distress the raw chipboard frame
• ID strip on patterned paper was used to obtain “Genuine Boy” cut out for the top star cluster
• Because the 4x6 photo did not fill the chipboard frame vertically I added star shapes punched from cardstock and thin chipboard, layered with a punch from patterned paper
• Fiber is actually a very thin piece of cardstock cut from the edge of the kraft background

Supplies:
Cardstock: Bazzill Kraft and Worldwin
Patterned Paper: Reminisce
Chipboard “Starlicious” Frame: Magistical Memories
Rub-ons: Reminisce
Ink: Colorbox Fluid Chalk Ink
Paint: Folk Art, Liquitex
Brads: Making Memories
Buttons: American Crafts (green), misc. (blue)
Pen: Zig Memory System “Chocolate” mfr’d. by Kuretake Co., Ltd., Ranger Inkssentials White Opaque Pen
Adhesive: Fiskars Tape Runner and 3M foam adhesive squares
Tools: Twinkle, Twinkle XL Squeeze Punch by Fiskars

This is wonderful--- love the cut-out of the paper on the side-the circle and the stars that pop
