Does it snow in Bermuda? Well, according to the Department of Tourism, no, but every so many years, the weather likes to prove otherwise. Today was another one of those days - with high winds and temperatures hovering around 50 degrees, the conditions were perfect for hail, which blanketed the ground in many places, including the Mid Ocean Golf Club. The winds at our home on Sandycroft Lane, Southampton, nearly pulled small trees out of the ground and produced mean whitecaps in Harrington Sound. – January 27, 2006
