- Contests & Challenges

For this month's Wacky Holiday Challenge I choose August 26th, National Dog Day. How cool that there is actually a holiday celebrating doggies!! On that day I gave Boomer and Twinkie Frosty Paws to celebrate. I combined this challenge with Brandy's Fashion Findings Challenge to use stripes paired with neutrals. I had a blast combining these two challenges! TFL!
Journaling reads:
I was so happy to find out that there is actually a day to celebrate dogs! Boomer and Twinkie were very happy too. They each got a Frosty Paws to celebrate their special day. Boomer knew what was coming when he saw me take the little containers out of the freezer and was so excited. This was only the second time Twinkie had ever had one, and her tail was wagging a mile a minute the whole time she was licking it.
When they were both done with their Frosty Paws, they traded empty containers, each making sure that the other didn’t leave anything. Twinkie got all excited and started tearing around the house, and along the way she jumped right up on me while I was sitting on the couch and gave me a big lick on the mouth! I guess she was saying “thank you mommy!”
Papers and elements from these kits: Frisky Little Pup (Julie Bullock), Phydeaux the Dog (Joyful Expressions), Furbabies Here Doggy Doggy (Designs by Shelle), Doggie Style (Girl in Pink Designs), Fur Babies Puppy Dogs (Kristin Aagard), and Doggy Bowser MD (Libby Pritchett)
