For the October Movie of the Decade Challenge - to choose a movie from the top 200 movies of the 90's and use it for your title. I choose movie #142 The Mask for the title of my layout about yes, you guessed it, having to wear a mask.

I worked way outside of my comfort zone with this as I am trying to loosen up and do some inking and splattering on my paper. I inked behind the title in a deep dark blue ink and then mixed up some black and blue acrylic paint to get the same deep dark color and then wet it and flicked it onto the white cardstock. I know you can't see too much of it but it is there and I'm so proud of it lol. I also have a 6 x 6 paper pad that has resist patterns and word art that has gold foil mixed in with the resist pattern. I chose some of the papers and inked on them with the same deep dark blue ink that I used behind the title. I went for a kind of scattered look for the whole layout which is not my usual style, and I really love the effect and am happy with how it came out. Yay! Lol.

Journaling:
Wearing masks has unfortunately become a necessity and seems like it will still be for a very long time. We have all missed out on so much together time since the COVID lockdown started in March, and now here we are almost in November and I still can’t hug my sweeties without us all having to wear a mask. Even little JJ at three years old has cute little masks that Cindy got for her in her size. She is so good with them and knows she needs to wear one when she is close to grandma. Unfortunately we don’t get to be together very often, which is so hard for me to deal with. I miss them so much, and I miss them not being able to be here in our house. The times they come by for driveway visits are so special because at least I can get to see them. I took these pics one day when Cindy came by with JJ for a driveway visit. She had on her little mask, but I moved back from the car so she could take it off and I could she her cute little face.
