Sun Dog

These are pictures I took in July when we flew back from Kentucky to Alaska. We walked out of the terminal and there was this incredible sight of a sun dog! I’d never seen one before and Steve hadn’t seen one for many years. It was a nice way to be welcomed back to Alaska. For the Make the Cut challenge. For the 2-4-6-8 Challenge – 2 pictures, 4 patterned papers, 6 letter title and 8 photo corners. For the 100 Sheets challenge – 4. For the 30 item prompt #12 – Border Punch. For Team Stinkerbelle – Challenge #1 – Make the Cut; Challenge #2 – 2-4-6-8 – 2 pictures, 4 patterned papers, 6 letter title and 8 photo corners; for the 100 Sheets challenge – 4; for the 30 item prompt #12 – Border Punch; at least 2 flowers, decorated chipboard (there are two chipboard flowers with White Blizzard Nuvo Glitter Drops and rhinestones); gallery post; at least 2 mixed media products – I misted the black cardstock with 2 colors of Glimmer Mist and I painted the behind the journaling on the acetate; die cut is the title, use teal, yellow, red and a color of your choice – orange for a total of 10 points.
Materials – Cardstocks – Bazzill Raven, Classic Red, Lemon and Authentique; Patterned Papers – Scraps; Acetate – Office Depot; Border Punch – Martha Stewart; Brads – Carta Bella Secret Garden; Art Pebbles – Prima; Photo Corners – Recollections; Marker (outline on black cardstock) Nuvo Dual Dot Markers – Metallic; Pen – Sharpie; Paint – Raam Refined White; Nuvo Glitter Drops White Blizzard; Title Font – Broadway cut on Silhouette; Journaling Font – Sitka Small
