I detest this product for use with alcohol inks. The ink sinks into the felt so there's nothing left for your project. And since it's designed for alcohol ink, which I use primarily on grungeboard or chipboard, it just doesn't work. I imagine it would to some degree on clear acrylic accents or glass, but if you use your inks on other surfaces I don't think this is your best option.

I love this product as the handle is well designed - not too big and not too small. The only thing that I don't like about the felt is that it does attract lint and thus will leave lint particles on your design.
