Both sides are gorgeous, the purple B-side is unexpected and pretty.

The whole range of Royal Christmas is DELUXE to say the very least. The card is lovely and very thick. Though there is no foiling, embossing, glitter the pages are very decadent. Its all in the fine details, patterns and rich colour scheme used. TASTY to say the least!
The front of this page looks gold foiled, but it isn't. It is just rich in colour. The reverse is a rich purple intricate bauble style pattern, the same pattern repeated in many of the other pages in the series. The front has no hint of Christmas, you are not limited to just one subject matter with these lovely stars.
