This is a mask, not a stencil, so it is thin. I have trouble using it for dry embossing; and there isn't much depth when filling in the cross with medium: but these aren't the intended uses. As a mask, I love it. You can mask a solid heart, a solid cross, or a heart with cross cut into it. Heart makes great journaling area; and heart with cross cut out made simple Easter cards with added words "Jesus Loves You". Keep with Bible journaling supplies, and know I will continue to get a lot of use from it.
