April Cherry Box Projects

The April Cherry Box is perfect for creating your spring scrapbook pages, Easter or Mother’s Day cards, mini-albums, and more. This box includes products from the Echo Park ‘New Day‘ collection and Sizzix dies and texture roll. There are only a few more days to subscribe to receive this box so subscribe today!

Today we are sharing the projects Rachel and Jess made in their Facebook Live class where they unboxed and created projects with the April Box.

Rachel took inspiration from the Becky Fleck Sketch Challenge 268 to lay out her page. Using a sketch is a great way to get started when you don’t know where to begin. We host a new sketch challenge every week and you earn Cherry Points for participating! So make sure to check it out!

Rachel started with the cloud paper and added a bright stip of yellow down the center. She added white paint around the edges of the yellow paper to help the transition from the cloud page. She embellished using washi tape, ephemera, chipboard, and puffy stickers from the ‘New Day’ collection. She also die cut some florals on patterned paper and layered them up.

Jess wanted to show a few of the ways to use the Sizzix Texture Roll so she embossed it, inked it, and used it as the cover for her mini-album. The texture roll is like super-strong paper, which makes it perfect for a cover.

She used the Bookbinding & Label Thinlits Dies to create the hinges that the pages will attach to. This type of mini album is perfect for adding a lot of embellishments because of the space in between the pages.

Hello! I am the Marketing Coordinator here at ACOT. Here I make blog posts, test out new products, show how to use them, make posts for social media, and curate the Cherry Box. When I'm not crafting or creating art I like to garden, play ukulele, camp, hike, swim, and hang out with my family.

  1. My favorite Spring activity is watching my flowers work their way out of the earth. It makes me so excited for all the color and warmer weather.
