Enchanted Layout

Today I am sharing this layout I made to share some sneaks of the May Cherry Box! This box includes products from the Enchanted collection from Memory-Place! I love the soft colors, florals, greenery, and painted brush marks that are in this collection. If you have not yet heard of Memory-Place, they are a paper company from Japan that create beautiful designs on high-quality paper. This paper is thick and smooth. There are a couple of coordinating items from this collection that can only be found in this Cherry Box!!

I started this layout on one of my favorite background pages from this collection, the B-side of the Fairytale Paper. I love the painted look and the soft blues on this page. I thought I would add a touch of gold to the background by applying the Gold Stencil Paste from Lawn Fawn over a Flying Butterflies stencil.

The layout design of this page came from the Becky Fleck Sketch Challenge 270. I loved the grid design of this page and thought it would work perfectly with the Journal Cards included in this box.

When working with a sketch, I almost always change a few things. The biggest thing I planned on changing with this sketch is to include more layers beneath each journaling card or photo. One of the exclusive items in this box is origami paper from the Enchanted line. This is super thin 6″ x 6″ paper that is perfect for layering. Before layering, I crumpled it up in a ball to give it some added texture before adding it behind my photos and journalling cards.

One of the Enchanted Papers has tags on it that I cut apart to use as a couple of my journaling cards sections. I used a Crop – A – Dile and Gold Eyelets to add another touch of gold.

To complete this layout, I added pieces from the Enchanted Ephemera pack to embellish the page. The other exclusive item in this box is a beautiful roll of washi tape with florals on it. You can see it peeking out from behind my tags in this layout.
