Spring Cherry Box Layout
Hey crafty friends,
It’s Conny with a 12″ x 12″ layout using the Cherry Spring Box goodies! This layout was so much fun to create. It all started with a 12″ x 12″ paper with wide stripes in various colors. I transformed it by adding some stitching, stamping, and distressing. The result was a unique and beautiful layout that I am excited to share with you.
Let’s get started!
I used the Floral Background Stamp from Catherine Pooler and the Pinkfresh Studio Fresh Pear ink to stamp on the top part of the background. Once I finished stamping the floral background, I used my sewing machine to stitch straight lines across the wide stripes at the bottom. To add more interest, I cut them off using my scissors and distressed tool to fringe both ends of the strips.
I adhered the strips and a floral background to a cardstock for my next step. To make it more fun, add a color cardstock at the bottom and let the color peek through the strips. Then, I matted my photo on some patterned paper and added foam adhesive to create some dimension. I used the fringed cardstock pieces on both sides of the photo that I did with my sewing machine and added some chipboard frames as well. Finally, I placed some floral ephemera at the bottom of the photo and added some enamel dots for extra embellishment.
At the bottom of the strips, I added title ephemera, such as “perfect day,” “little moments of joy,” and “so much fun and laughter,” along with enamel dots that match the color of the strip. Wood accents at the top left and the strip. That was it for this layout! We can’t wait to see what you create using the Cherry Box this Spring! Xo Conny!
