About
I started scrapping in 1998 and then it was strictly heritage. I have expanded my horizons and scrapping styles since then. I am more fond of darker or subdued colors. I'm not fond of pastels or glaring colors but since becoming a grandma, I have been know to use them occasionally. I like to travel, knit, crochet, cook, and eat as well as SB. I'm retired and love it, except for the being old part. I was married 52 years and spent lots of time with DH. I love John Deere tractors/stuff.
I like cats and cat stuff. I have one cat I got from a rescue group about 13 years ago, Sweet Gypsy Rose. I never, ever allow my friends to lose touch with me. Still have friends that I've known for 70 years or more. I don't like the cartoony stickers/stuff. I'm more into kind of realistic. Just about anything old fashioned, subdued, or heritage.
Also into farm and tractor stuff. And nowadays mostly make cards when crafting.

Kids? 3- 2 boys, 1 girl. And three grandchildren.

What kind of layouts are you going to be working on in the future? Don’t scrapbook anymore. Just card making.

Anything you won't use? cartoony stickers
Favorite designers? Tim Holtz, Gina K Designs, Waffle Flower
Anything you are wanting to try? I try most everything
Brads? Not really. More sequins now

Acrylic paints? yes and I use watercolor paints too

What is your favorite type of item to make? card using lots of ink and stencils
Do you use embellished tags on a regular basis? (and by that I mean those that you embellish yourself.) no
What is your greatest scrapbooking weakness? putting too much stuff on a card. no empty space
What is your favorite paper theme (i.e., floral, stripes, plaid, fun themes, solids)? heritage, cowboy and denim,distressed, stripes, diamonds, circles
And I am expecting my first grandchild this spring (May 2008)(LOL he is 18 now and has a 11 year old little sister and a 9 yr old baby brother now -I need to update more often)
