How to Create Coordinating Scrapbook Pages
Hello Everyone, Sara with you today! I am sharing two coordinating scrapbook pages with you. Not a double-page spread, though. I’m allergic to those… lol! I have never liked the large canvas size of 12X24 on a double page. SO over the years, I have come up with a solution when I have a lot of photos for one story, with photos I want to live together in my album. Photos that together tell a story. I create 2 12X12 coordinating pages. Pages that can be separate but also coordinate together. There are a few simple steps I take to do this, and I am going to tell you all my design secrets today!

I start by choosing a collection. My current go-to favorite line is Let’s Celebrate from Bella Blvd. This collection just inspires me with its icons and colors. And it is so truly versatile!
The first page I created holds my title and journaling. Since I know that I will be doing a second coordinating page, I decided on a big title. I used a Bella Blvd Cut-Out for that. I backed the Cut-Out with patterned papers, and I also discovered that one of my photos fit perfectly in the letter D, so I added it there, too.

I chose white cardstock for both of my backgrounds, but wanted to add a little more sparkle, so I splattered the paper with some gold Aqua Pigment from Brutus Monroe. This added interest and shine to my page. I added a journaling box, some embellishment clusters, and Epoxy Stickers. And then it was time to move on to the second page.

For my second page, I kept a few things in mind – same collection, add the gold splatter, and repeat a few icons to keep the two pages cohesive. But otherwise, I allowed myself to just create a page I loved. So it can both stand alone, OR look good in my album beside the first page. And I love both pages.

Be sure to check out the Let’s Celebrate Collection from Bella Blvd as well as my gallery for more projects using it. It really is my most used and loved collection so far this year!
Have A Lovely Day!
