Mini Memory Planner Page
Hi! It’s Mariel and I am excited to be back to show you a quick mini-memory page to add to your memory planner. I love creating these to add a little memory that isn’t date-specific to my memory planner. I wanted to add a memory about mix tapes so that my kids could understand more about what it was like when I was young! Jen Hadfield’s Flower Child collection is perfect for this!

First I took white cardstock and cut it down to 4.25 x 9.5 inches for my classic Happy Planner. I didn’t want it to be a full page, just a smaller accent. I used the disc punch so I could add it to my planner. Then I used Tim Holtz Distressed Ink and Distressed Oxide to brush on color. I used Tattered Rose at the top and Mustard Seed at the bottom and blended them in the middle. I added a floral stamp from Jen Hadfield’s Flower Child in Tim Holtz Walnut Ink.

I tore a corner of one of the floral pages and added it to the page. Then I cut the pink journal square and cassette tapes from the pattered papers. I added my journaling and glued it down along with the tapes. I grabbed a “Remember” title from the Year In Review Titles & Phrases from Echo Park Paper and placed it above the journaling. I cut two strips from the patterned paper. On one I stamped the words “mix tape” in Tim Holtz Distressed Oxide Tumbled Glass and on the other, I notched the end like a ribbon. I used the Tumbled Glass Oxide to add a few dots to the background. Finally, I finished it off with two puffy stickers from Flower Child. I can add a cute little memory anywhere in my memory planner. Thanks so much for checking out the blog post.

Love your sweet memory page! Love that you created it from scratch! Beautiful ink blending and layering of all of the pretty papers and embellishments! Just such a pretty page!
