Re: MMC - June 20 - Challenge #3

I'm short the white crayon, but there's a dollar tree store next to JoAnns, why not go for both places? 😉

Re: May/June 2022 Baby/Kid Challenge

Tsk, tsk for not getting you photos done from last year, Brandy!  These are from Joey's fourth birthday party, and he'll be 44 next birthday - I'm 40 YEARS behind on some!

Re: Thankful for thunderstorms!!!

Yup! I remember them! The lab my sister Sue had wasn't that large, she was about 60 lbs though! She was thin and lanky and was stuck under there often. It was in the 80s, Joey had named her - Smurfette. Lol thankfully we all called her Smurgy.

Re: Scrap a Day, June 19th

Barb, my thoughts are with you, as many of the cherries have already said the firsts are hard.  There's always a pang in my heart on certain days, and Father's Day is one of them, my Dad passed on Father's Day in 2008, doesn't seem like it's been that long already. I could not believe how many entr...

Re: Thankful for thunderstorms!!!

It's currently 93 here in our area.  Ugh!  Thankful the humidity isn't too bad.  I was out plucking a few weeds and it got to be too much.  We're supposed to have a temp break over the weekend.  We had thunderstorms Tuesday and Wednesday night.  Hope your pups are doing okay.  Our dog really didn't...

Re: Scrap a Day, June 19th

I'm just chilling today, the saltwater conversion of the pool is ongoing problem, my sister looks wasted. I asked her if it's worth helping the heater to last longer is she herself doesn't. Called Neo's dad (aka my son) to wish him a happy first Father's Day. My sister bought a mug and a frame for h...

Re: Scrap a Day, June 19th

Fabulous layout Barb! And many hugs. Relaxed most of the day yesterday, with a skeet shoot in the middle of the afternoon at my uncle's ranch. My bio dad and his wife were there, so I gave him his card. Left at 4pm and DH showered, ate something real quick then left for his tattoo appt. I relaxed t...

Re: Scrap a Day, June 19th

Hey Cherries. Happy Father’s Day to all the Cherry Dads. A sad day for us here. We will be headed up to the cemetery later. The weather is nice and sunny with temps headed for around 73 degrees. And no humidity. I did finish one more layout for the NSD Rewind last night. It’s for Brandy’s Everyday ...

Re: Scrap a Day, June 19th

Quiet day here.  DH still hasn't heard from either of his children which I find strange.  Since we won't be seeing any of our children today, we are going to a local Taproom for an early dinner. I did this layout yesterday but didn't get a chance to post. https://sbing.com/i/gallery2/471348-330.jpg...

Re: No wonder I don't like TV.

I love the history channel and archeological shows on nat geo, mysteries of the abandoned and I do like forensic files and the old law and orders. There are some prime time shows I watch during the regular season . I have direct tv and just record. These are all that I watch! I don't even like the ...

Re: Scrap a Day, June 18th

Good morning Barb, happy planting. I am feeling very lazy today too. Trying to plan a couple weekend getaways but am very indecisive. Getting ready to start scrapping and get to some of these June Challenges. Hoping to get some more done in my Key West album. Hubby asked me yesterday how I can turn...

Re: Scrap a Day, June 18th

Watched the hockey game tonight, and chilled after a long day. My sister woke up and was blabbering no sense to me, she had looked out her bedroom window and the pool had aqua all around it in globs - the pH they had added hadn't dissolved enough and it had shut down the filter, heater, and wrecked ...

Re: Putting this out into the universe

actually - I've done this before. I went on a scrapbooking cruise. I love cruising and I love scrapbooking - so sounds great. Well, I will not be doing that again. I found that the cruising took away from the scrapping and the scrapping took away from the cruising. Plus bringing all the supplies - ...

Re: Getting what I wished for

Thanks everybody! I bought so much for him (scrapbook wise, the little outfits and toys are a give). But I'm so pleased that Neo's parents are so good about the photos. Mom is a great photographer of her little boy.

Re: Could use some prayers - Updated June 17

Oh my Deanna! DH and you need prayers! God never gives us more than we can handle, but sometimes He sure overestimates me! I really believe your love for each other and that wonderful family of yours will get you through this! Prayers for you are coming from my family and friends. God bless!

Getting what I wished for

My son and his wife had their baby May 17, and I was so hoping for pictures to see him get bigger.  Well tomorrow marks his first month milestone, so I counted photos my son and Lilly have sent in four weeks.  89.  Yes by text, not the ones I took.  So they get an A+ for keeping grandma happy!  How ...
