We went to see the "Behind the Emerald Curtain" tour today in NYC. It was really fascinating and they told all about the creation of the show and what it takes to run it. It was led by a former WICKED cast member {who, coincidentally, we saw on WED night as Mr. Banks in Mary Poppins} and one of the swing actors who has been with the show for nearly 6 years. Way too cool. Tonight we saw "Next to Normal" and it was extraordinary! Sooooo...if you haven't seen me around these parts it's because the family and I have been running like crazy all over NYC this week. Sadly, it is our last night here and we leave in the morning for home. It will be good to actually sleep again though.


Oh, and I met up with Sandra (Fong33) over in Chinatown for lunch! She's a SWEETIE!!! We had such a wonderful time and even spotted Jennifer Anniston shooting something near the court house on our walk back to the Subway from lunch! Thanks Sandra for a completely fabulous time!! I HEART NY and YOU!!!

We did the Behind the Emerald Curtain in Dec. You learn so much about the show and Broadway in general. It's was very much worth the time and money.
