Good Morning! I am at work, but when Iget off, I am going home to my bed. After I get up, I plan to do laundry. There is so much of it to do since I have had washer problems and then dryer problems. The construction workers at my house are almost finished with the back deck. It is very small (8'X10'), but will be effective for our needs. I have enjoyed watching the progress on my house and take pics every evening of the work that was done.
What are your plans for this blessing of a day?
I'm at work too, right now. I get off work about 7:15am or so...then I have a doctor's appt. I have a knee that is causing some problems...it's very noisy - you can hear the creaking when I bend it, and it's getting worse. I am terrible about taking meds, so I don't like taking ibuprofen before and during shifts because I hate needing them that often! I have talked to one of our ER docs about Celebrex, and I'm kind of hoping to get something like that for use when the knee is bad. I've been told it already has joint space narrowing, although in doing research I almost think it sounds more like patellar tendonitis. Either way...need better pain control.
Then I need to get some sleep, because round 2 of work comes Thursday at 7pm! I was going to pick up a Saturday night shift, but someone else beat me to it. I'd like the money, but I also kind of need the break from working too, so I guess I"m not too upset about it.
I need to wash some scrubs or I won't have clothes to wear to work! lol

All my scrubs are clean, but I had better loose some weight or I won't be able to get into them! Take care of that knee. Without you can't pick up any shifts!Ayla wrote:I'm at work too, right now. Good morning! Coffee finished brewing. Typical Thursday of running kids and working both jobs. Lots of plans this weekend, but all fun ones! The kids should enjoy it.
Happy Day everyone!
Happy Day everyone!
I've been home in Houston this week, so today I'll be meeting with my client. Saturday I go back to San Antonio for the services on Sunday and Monday.
Hope i get to work on a layout tonight.

Dad has started his journey home to Minnesota this morning. He should arrive sometime this evening. I will meet him at the funeral home tonight. Then the services are tomorrow. Oh please help me get strength to get through all of this. I will have a house full tonight and then again tomorrow, with the last of people leaving Saturday morning. I just want to curl up next to my dad and hear him tell me that everything is going to be ok.
Mildred - Mom to 2 girls and a husband (I tell people that I am a single mom of 3. Ages 61, 39 and 33) lol. And a proud Grandma to Orahn (8) Sawyer (6) and Mazie (4).

Laurie and Mildred, my hugs and thoughts still going for you.
Good morning, I think I'm up. Wasn't really awake well until I got onto the message board and reading the posts. After working 3 days, I finally get to relax and enjoy your company. What to do today, that is the question, besides the normal household chores! Coffee first, (ty Bibi for making a pot before leaving) and then I'll plan. I do have a huge stack of older MME pps that I should put to use doing the manufacter challenge. My pad and pencil at hand, I'll begin my list for the day. Enjoy the day, all!

Good morning y'all! I got a really good night's sleep last night so I woke up feeling refreshed. Today I'm doing our laundry. We desperately need undergarments. Don't you hate that when that happens? LOL. DH is wearing his last pair of boxers, and I'm wearing the next the last pair of bra/panties. Ooopsie! So I've got load two in the wash, which I need to check on. Work is going smoothly so far. Keep your fingers crossed that all is good ALL DAY LONG! We are supposed to get some rain. I sure hope we get it. Really need it. BAD.
Anywho, ((HUGS)) to MIldred and Laurie and anyone else who needs them. Have a great day cherries!

ugh at this time of the day I should still be asleep, not up for over an hour. But for some odd reason, I made an appointment for early morning. Don't know why. I must be getting accustomed to being up earlier though, my brain turned on and I did all 3 of my puzzles in the newspaper this morning in just under 30 minutes! lol I need to clean house and do laundry when I get back and write out the few checks for the bills that I don't have automatically deducted from the account. Oldest son coming to supper tonight too. A full Thursday I guess. lol
Hope everybody has a great day.

Hugs to Laurie & Mildred. I had a terrible morning. I woke up to room spinning dizziness where I couldn't even get out of bed without vomiting. I get this once in awhile due to allergies. I usually take musinex and it does the trick. I had none in the house and I have an off- site training class for work today. I took allergy meds and hubby ran to the store at 7am to get musinex.
I refused to call out, this is only my 2nd week at my new job. My family helped so much. An hour 1/2 later I felt better so went to class ( with a bowl in my purse just in case, lol). The class instructor asks for ID and I look-no wallet. Omg can't believe it. So oldest drove to me to get it because I have no money for lunch.
The instructor paces while talking and I'm up front because I was the last to come w/ no other seat available. He makes me more dizzy, lol. I can't wait to go home, but at least I'm upright!!

Good question! Maybe I should actually start the day. Laundry, haircut, nails done. I get to go to choir practice tonight. Love that.
