After a mild thunderstorm yesterday, we woke up to lovely, cool temperatures in the 50's! High today in the low 70's, so basically, perfect!
How's the weather in your area?
I just finished my coffee and I'm starting to post today's MMC's!

Good morning… The weather’s nice here, too. After a dry spring, we’re very grateful for all the recent rain!

A little chillier here today, when we just had 80's all last week. I'm on my second cup of coffee! The kids are crafting at the kitchen table and I'm working away on my laptop

I was awake early and just got up. Had my coffee and was out to walk. Back home and will jump in the shower. Chauffeuring grandson to summer band and need to clean house. Before I can tackle your challenges. Nice day at the moment and headed to 79 they say.

Beautiful with a high of 75 today! What a storm last night though.... we were in a tornado warning for over an hour. The lightening was crazy! Thankfully, it just missed us but unfortunately the lightening struck our daughter's house. They are safe and we are getting things in order for her.

We didn't have rain but also woke up to temps in the 70s so all the windows are open and it's so nice to air this place out. I'm having my 2nd tea and trying to get started after this crazy weekend with the concert and everything.

Oh gosh! You woke up to the 50s! That sounds so heavenly!
Down here in South Texas, we've got TONS of moisture in our atmosphere. Remnants of Pacific Storm Cristina is south of us, and will colide with a low that's currently over Northern Mexico. That in turn will move northeast and re-emerge in the Gulf while simultaneously interacting with a front that is north of us. Which makes us currently 82 degrees, but it feels like 95 degrees. Humidity is sitting at 90% with a dew point of 80 degrees.
With that said, we're expected to receive between 4-6 inches of rain later this afternoon and evening, into tomorrow and Wednesday, possibly 7+ inches in some areas. Flood Watch until Thursday morning.
Just finished up my 2nd cup of coffee while making "cosmetic" changes to a 10-page report.

Beautiful weather here in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. We've finally hit summer I think. We have started to go up in temps - should be in the low 80s today. I'm headed out to a coffee shop on the river for Bible study this morning.

Word of 2026 - MINDFUL
We had more storms roll through late yesterday afternoon -- more high winds, lost power for a bit. But, as soon as that weather blew through it was in the 60's and super comfortable! Sunny and only 70 today! I'm so glad that heat and humidity is gone. For now, anyway.

OCD is not an adjective. It is not a personality quirk. It is not synonymous with being organized. It is a complex and debilitating mental health illness that affects people of all ages and walks of life, and is defined by the presence of unwanted, intrusive thoughts and repetitive actions.
I am an OCD warrior and I fight for my son.

We finally got some serious rain!!! I’m in southeast Alaska in a rain forest and because we get our water from an underground stream that nearly went dry we were in a severe water restriction. But it started raining yesterday afternoon and by dark it was raining hard. Rained hard all night and is still a bit damp. Light showers and 57 degrees for our high. Still a bit chilly but not snow and ice!
