just check the Alaska Daily News site . . . it was out on the Aleutians. . . no reports of injuries or anything. That's far, far away from any of us.

I was up wrapping Christmas presents with the TV on that night, and the emergency announcement system came on and said the entire state's coast line was under watch for tsunami from a 7.2 earthquake out on the Chain. Then 30 mins later they came on and canceled it. It would have hit Unalaska, if there had been a wave, but since it didn't, there was no issue.We didn't feel anything here. Thanks for checking on us!
