I wanted to make this challenge something in conjunction with our host "ACOT". So while posting a layout I had completed, I saw the part that always stumps me - what category(s) does it fit into and what Technique(s) did I use that are on the list. So I usually just pass them by and post my layout.
I decided that that was not sharing with other members, and so I've been consciously trying to make more time in selecting from those two lists. Since manufacturers are already covered in the challenges, and quite nicely, I might add, I wanted to incorporate the other two. So - if you are with me on this - this is how "Take Two" came about:
Each month I will choose randomly a category, and each month I will choose a techniques by chance as well. You may choose to do either of the two selectred, or if you are really ambitious, use the technique on your layout from the category of the month. If you choose to do one, I will enter your name into the drawing once. If you do both category and technique, I'll put your name in twice. If you win with your name in once - I'll award a $5 ACOT gift certificate. If you did both technique and category, and you win - You will win a $10 gift certificate!! Sound like fun? This is open to any type - digi- hybrid - traditional.
NOVEMBER Challenge:
OK, since I pulled "Children - twins" for the category - I decided that that would be very hard if not impossible for most - I took the liberty of tweaking this week but am being honest that I switched it a tad to "Children - infants"
Technique this month is a lot simpler - BORDERS.
So if you do an infant layout with a border you took two.
Of course you always have the options of doing either/or - an infant layout only, or a layout about anything with a border.
