Each month depending on my mood is what the challenge will be. It could be a recipe challenge, quote challenge, technique challenge, movie inspiration challenge, etc... I might run the same challenge for more than a month or change it up(the mood thing again). lol

This months mood...is all things Halloween. I love Halloween and everything that goes along with it. The kids in their costumes, the decorations and even the spooky, creepy vibe. So this month I want to bring in just a bit for my challenge. For the question I asked you had to pick a word from the list, now this is what you have to do with that word. Use the first letter of your word for an item/embellie on your layout. Does not have to be a Halloween layout.

The catch is it CAN NOT be the name of a manufacturer or a collection. It must be an item. For example pumpkin you would use something that starts with the letter P...pumpkin, pink flower, purple star etc.

I had my daughter pick for me and she chose 2. Skulls so I used an s item...stitching.

I chose haunted so I used lots of hearts - heart paper, heart photo corners and heart brads. Combined with the Use Your Stash Challenge.

I choose pumpkin - and I used the color Purple on my layout. Which was a challenge, because I don't have a lot of purple anything.

Here's my page!  I picked Witch, so my item/embellie is Washi tape.
I used washi tape to cover a 7 1/2" circle to create a base for my photo. All the flower embellishments are cut from the same washi tape. The two leafy banner strips to the left top and bottom are also washi tape.
