And our winner is #18, MaganL! Congrats!!

Thanks for your patience Cherries. If you are curious about why I am so delayed in posting this challenge, or to see a cute pic of the grandkids who delayed me, see here: Why I'm soooo delayed!!
Because I am so late, and with NSD just 20(!!) days away, I'm posting this now but it won't be due until May.
But first I want to say how blown away I was by all of your entries last month - your cherrylifts of my layouts were amazing and and inspirational. Thank you. I still owe some of you some love and I WILL get to it this week!
A little different approach to journaling this month: sometimes what you want to say has already been said better by someone else!! I used to think it was taking a short cut, like cheating, to use quotes for journaling, but then I realized that some quotes already said everything I wanted to say. Why should I paraphrase a conversation when it was more effective to just recount the actual exchange?
So, for this month's challenge, your journaling must be a quote. Your quotes can come from almost any source, BUT they MUST be attributable - that is you must include the source, typically the person who said it!
For my first example, I've included a well know "inspirational quote" as my journaling and it includes the author of the quote.

In this second example I got the picture from a posting my daughter's neighbor put on facebook. So for my journaling I'm quoting the neighbor's post, and I have credited her with the quote.

This final example is from over a year ago - but it is a good example of quoting the speakers instead of summarizing what they said. Note that the speakers of each sentence are identified.

And before anyone asks, yes Bible quotes may be used but please cite "chapter & verse" (for example "To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven", Ecclesiastes 3:1) as well as song lyrics (your choice - include the lyricist or the performer, LOL)
If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask!
Fine print (LOL):
1) Entries must be new single or double page layouts and may be digital or paper.
2) Your journaling MUST be some form of a direct quote and MUST be attributed to the speaker
3) May be combined with one other challenge that allows combining.
4) Up to three entries allowed.
5) MOST IMPORTANT: HAVE FUN!
Entries are due 5/31/23
