WOW WOW WOW!!! What a successful April Washi Challenge we had. I feel bad that I haven't been around this past 2 weeks, but we had a family emergency I had to tend to. I'm back now and can't wait for another successful Washi Challenge. So here it goes....
Long ago I learned to make my own "patterned paper" by using Washi. All you do is take white cardstock and cover it with Washi. You can do this so many different ways and I find that I don't have to use patterned paper at all. The Washi takes over and your page will look amazing. Below are several different ways I've created my own " patterned paper" by just using Washi. Think of your Washi as your patterned paper.
You can cover the entire paper or use strips of Washi like this -

You can cover half the paper with Washi like this -

You can use the thinner Washi and put it anywhere you like like this -

You can just put strips of Washi behind your photo(s) like this -

You can even make a simple banner with Washi like this -

You can even be very simple and add a small amount of Washi like this -

My challenge to you is ~ create a page using all Washi to make your "patterned paper" without using traditional patterned paper.
Here's the Rules:
- Use Washi as your background (as little or as much as you would like).
- Try not to use traditional Patterned Paper.
- Cards & Layouts - traditional, digital or hybrid are fine.
- You may do this challenge up to 3 times.
- No combining challenges as I like to see the Washi be the star.

- I will randomly select 1 person for an ACOT gift card from myself.
- Please have fun!!!
