June MASCULINE CARD CHALLENGE ***WINNER***
Sorry to be so late with this. I had some tests done and the blood clot in my heart has not dissolved, so I can't have the cardioversion done to get my heart out of afib. I am unbelievably exhausted all the time with intermittent breathing difficulties. I can't walk very far without getting out of breath. I am somehow keeping my heart failure at bay. So thankful for that. I will be discussing the next steps with my cardiologist next week.

Meanwhile, I have randomly chosen a winner of June's Masculine Card Challenge using random.org.

*** The winner is Sharman Paulus ***  Congratulations!

I will send you your $5 gc asap.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I am feeling somewhat better so I thought I would submit a challenge for June. I will not be having any procedures until the beginning of July. Hopefully I will continue to feel well enough to participate on the board.

The challenge for June is to create a wedding card. That's it!  A wedding card!  I got the idea for this from traveler, who submitted a wedding card for my Apr/May challenge. She said she hoped it counted, as only half the recipients were masculine. It fulfilled the requirements for the challenge so I accepted it.

So this month you have quite a bit of artistic freedom to create a wedding card. There are no limitations or specifications for this card, only that it is a wedding card.  Have fun creating.  A winner of a $5 gift card will be chosen randomly using random.org.

SAMPLE CARD:

I give my handmade cards for weddings all the time. They are greatly appreciated because they have the personal touch.  Actually, one of my friends commissioned me to make a special wedding card for her niece.  Your card is very pretty.

Re: June MASCULINE CARD CHALLENGE
The couple getting married are music teachers, so I found a nice soft blue background paper with a sheet music tone-on-tone print.  The theme of the wedding?  Floral.  I guess the guy didn’t care or have any say, hahaha.  Thank you for hosting this challenge!

I made a wedding mini booklet for a card, for my son's friends when they got married, as most of his friends were together since they were little, and I would pictures of them in soccer, band, etc, as they grew up. The last page would always be. "And then he met the love of his life, and they lived happily ever after.".
I guess I could start  part 2, as most of them are divorced and remarried.  Sad.  I was in that club, too.

Mary I am so sorry to hear this. Sending you ((hugs)) and prayers you have been on my mind. Hoping your doctor can come up with a plan to help you.
