Some of you already guessed it from my hint...we are coffee/tea dying paper. It's got to be tea or coffee.
Here is a link of a tutorial that I made if you need some instruction. viewtopic.php?f=362&t=280037

Please follow these instructions:
** Make at least one sheet of coffee dyed paper and take a photo of it to load with your layout or card
** Use it on a layout or card. Feel free to use it for embellishments, layout/card background, or layers. Take a photo of it and post it here in this forum. So the challenge requires TWO photos.
**Due Date May 18th, 11:59pm
**One entry per person.
**Photos are required on layouts
**You may only combine with the 25 Prompts Challenge.

Here is my example: I used the dyed paper to make tags and photo mats for my planner.

Winner will be randomly selected by me and will receive this great Altenew Spring Paper Bundle generously given by Altenew.

Re: Joannie's Coffee Dyed Paper Challenge
My mother would do this with us when we were little kids, it was so fun!  We would make treasure maps out of it and even singe or burn the edges of the paper.  Fun for birthdays.  I just might do this for old times sake!

If I didn't drink tea or coffee I'd be Sleeping Beauty and no prince would get me up.

I was going to say Rumpelstiltskin but I saw on Jeopardy no one knew who that was!! I am old.

Oh yes Sandy!!  We burned the edges too.  There were three of us and I'm surprised we didn't burn down the house.

Re: Joannie's Coffee Dyed Paper Challenge
I don't drink coffe...so I had to improvise.  Imagine my son's confusion when I asked him if I could have the last little bit of his coffee this morning when it turned to cold to drink.....and I poured/splattered it all over my paper.   To make matters worse, the paper was crumbled up, so he thought I just had a random piece of garbage doing that to!

Here is my entry.  I'm not sure why the photo of my paper is so small, but it is very hard to see the coffee, so took a picture of my coffee-dyed paper next to an undyed page.

Thanks for a fun challenge!

thank you!

Here is corrected post.  I tea dyed paper that already had stenciling on it, in the oven.  /I lik how the edges turned out.  I used the whole thing because I like it so much.

Re: Joannie's Coffee Dyed Paper Challenge
My daughter helped me dye the paper with my morning coffee. We had so much fun! We used a medicine dropper to squirt it onto the paper.  Then, it turned out to be perfect for this layout where my kids are in the wild west at Disneyland.

I was hoping to use both but only ended up using the summer paper:

Re: Joannie's Coffee Dyed Paper Challenge
I finally did it!  I let the paper dry for a day it was soaked lol.  I distressed the edges and after putting it on the layout was kind of plain so I stenciled light blue on top of it.
