Here is last night, just hanging out with us

As you can tell, I never scrapped last night and I doubt I'll get any scrapping today either. We are still watching Harvey - he's slowly moving across the Yucatan and will be in the Bay of Campeche soon. Once he does, we'll figure out where landfall will be. Yesterday, it was expected between Lousiana coast or anywheres on Texas coast. Uh..have you seen the size of Texas's coast? But as of 7am, he's now expected between Houston and Matagorda Bay. If you don't know where that is, Matagorda Bay is about 50 miles north of corpus Christi. And for weather wise, you want to be SOUTH of a storm. Anybody NORTH of landfall will get the bad winds and torrential rains/flooding. Yesterday, it was forecasted that we could get up to 10 inches of rain here. But because he's moving more north/northwest now, it'll be more like 2-4 inches of rain in a 3 day period. We get that in Spring without Tropical Storms/Hurricanes. But that's not to say we won't be prepared. Meds/food are stocked up for the babies. Vehicles are gassed up and cash has been pulled out just in case. Generator is in full working order and I'll go get groceries later today. Fully stocked with water and batteries. Today, we'll cycle thru the storm shutters and DH will get sandbags ready to go in the areas that flood when we get ONE inch of rain. By Friday, we'll just sit back and relax.
