Hey Cherries. Overcast and a little chilly this morning only 60 degrees. Looks like 60s during the day and 50s at night all this week. I know many of you love Fall but I hate when summer ends and I have to start wearing hoodies and sweatshirts and give up wearing flip tops and sandals. Soon I will have to take out the socks and boots. Ugh. 

Today I have to make Maddie’s birthday card. I worked on cleaning up my office all weekend and really made so much progress. For someone who loves to be organized I got vey slack on filing away papers and putting things away and developed a huge catch all area. I took care of almost all of it over the weekend. Something that has been needed to be done for a long time. I still have some more things to take care of but I’m getting there. I’ll work on some of it today between loads of laundry and making Maddie’s card.

I am happily working while listening to my Elton John playlist and am grateful for time to catch up. When I get home I will watch the second half of the Chiefs game and probably just chill, busy week ahead. Have a great day everyone.

Beautiful and pleasant weather at 65 degrees.  Caraline is off school today and asked me to take her shopping and to lunch today.  I can never say no...  LOL!  They grow up too fast and you don't see them as often.  I will be leaving at 11:30 for the afternoon.  We had a nice visit with middle DGS and his GF yesterday.  Always happy to see them.  Have a good day Cherries!

As much as I dislike seeing summer end, I'm a hoodie kind of girl.  However, I don't give up my flip flops unless there is snow on the ground.

Yeah I'm like that too. Even in the dead of winter I will wear flip flops and flip flop slippers around the house, until my feet can't take being cold anymore. Even if I have socks on the slippers are open toe lol.

Taking a short break from cleaning, waiting for floors to dry and will continue on.  Got out for my walk, only in the 40’s here.  Will reach to around 80 today.  Very sunny out.  I, for one, am very happy to see cooler temps.  Hot weather just makes me grumpy.  
Yesterday saw this recipe for pecan pie energy balls.,  very easy and oh, so, yummy.  I will be making more.  
Quiet day after I get my house cleaned.

Low 80’s, sunny and almost no breeze. But weather dude still saying 3 days this week back into the 90’s.

Another quiet dull day. Thinking house cleaning and maybe a bit of yard work. Need to see what needs doing before October rolls around and hunting season opens. My sons tend to disappear during that time.

Hola cherries. This morning has zoomed by fast, thank goodness. Got some cleaning done earlier, and have been working all morning. Just stopped to have a quick lunch.

Yesterday, DH hadn't even reached Phoenix yet when I called him at 1pm to see how things were going. I had just gotten home from some Retail Therapy and he had JUST hit the breaks. Everybody was at a stand still. We stayed on the phone for 45 mins while I just chatted away, when he started to move. Apparently a 5 car pile up occurred. UGH! And I found out that the horrible accident earlier that morning in Texas (12:20 am to almost 4am) was really really bad. A car exploded on impact! EEEk!

He FINALLY made it to his Mom's house by 9pm (7 pm Calif. time). He was exhausted. He slept well last night and toda, he'll be at his dad's house to clean up the back yard.
