Scrap a Day, September 23rd
Hey Cherries. Chilly morning, only 59 degrees with a feels like of 50. No place I have to be today so I plan on working on my mini album project. I should take time out from it and work on a challenge as I haven’t done any all month. We’ll see how it goes.

Have a great day Cherries.

Re: Scrap a Day, September 23rd
Good morning Barb. That weather sounds so heavenly! I'll trade ya! LOL. It is still very very Summer here.Yesterday we hit a high of 95 and had a heat index of 109.

Last 2 days have been super busy work days. I ran out of steam just before 5pm yesterday, and decided to just throw in the towel. I binged a bit of TV. Slept much better. After feeding the dogs and Jackson, I got started on wrapping Jasper's Bday gifts. Now that's done, I can move on to making his card. Can't believe he'll be 7 next Friday! Ack!

DH is making tremendous progress at his dad's house. Him and his uncle cleaned things up Monday, and yesterday had a Junk Company come and haul off all the junk. They have an inspection with the city today at 10am. Hope that goes well. He's going to try to see his son tomorrow, and then probably head out to come home sometime Friday.

I need to get started on work. Hope y'all have a great day.

Re: Scrap a Day, September 23rd
Hello Cherries! 🍒

We’ve had about a foot of rain total since Friday!!! It’s not raining now but it’s supposed to sometime today and all the rest of the month. At least I don’t have to worry about water right now!!!

Im having a stress induced bad day. At 12:30 last night Steve couldn’t sleep so he went to get ice cream and it was totally melted. OMG!!! So we had to plug in the chest freezer to see if it worked and it does. Thank God! We took everything out of my fridge freezer and he put it in the freezer downstairs.

Today he and Mike got Mike’s little fridge and made sure it worked and brought it upstairs. So we didn’t lose much food. Whew! Dodged a bullet there!

But now instead of a dryer and a laptop I have to buy a refrigerator! Ugh!!! And I LOVE this one! It’s the best one I’ve ever had! But it’s not looking like it’s fixable. :(

So I couldn’t sleep last night and it was too late to take anything so I only slept about an hour. And my system is maxed out right now. So I’m resting and trying to calm down. Just really disappointed in it all. :(

If I’m up to it later I’ll try to scrap. That usually helps. :)

Hope you’re all having a great day!!!

Re: Scrap a Day, September 23rd
In the 90’s here today and tomorrow but late enuf in the year that doesn’t feel too bad. My son is out doing my yard work and says he’s barely sweating! lol

Washed my hair today and fixing to make an apple pie. Both of my sons prefer pie over cake when given the choice. lol. Both boys and my BIL are coming over tonight and we are going out to dinner to celebrate my younger son’s bday a few days early. Next week on his actual bday they will b getting ready to go deer hunting. The first week of the season they go up for a week.

Have a winning Wednesday.

Bowl Full of Cherries

Re: Scrap a Day, September 23rd
Hey Cherries!  I had a hair appointment this morning and then stopped at a market next door for some fresh rolls for tonight's dinner.  They had a super fun Halloween display with lots of different things that I haven't seen in most places.  Grabbed a bunch of stuff for the kid's BOO baskets.  Spent the afternoon packing up the car and printing some last minute pictures.  Have a good rest of your day!
