Hey Cherries. Here we are, October 1st. Sky has a vet appointment today for a spleen check. It was looking good 6 weeks ago so hoping for the same today. When I get home I will work on getting my music challenge up. I was able to get one more layout for a challenge done last night in between cooking diner and watching the Yankees/Red Sox playoff game. This is the layout I did of little JJ. She was only 2 years old in this photo!

Happy October!  Hoping Sky’s appointment goes well. Cute, cute layout.

Just in from walking.  It’s was chilly at 40degrees.  It’s cloudy out, after a drizzly day yesterday.  It really felt like fall and we never reached our anticipated high. Stopped in to visit granddaughter.  Now need to jump in the shower as I have an eye appointment in an hour.  Need to go to the grocery store for a few items for Saturday’s feast.  And want to shop for new glasses.  We will see how messed up my eyes are after my appointment.

Well, hello, do you remember me? LOL  I don't think I have scrapped in months, although I have made several junk journals and cards.  It is a new month, and I will try to check in once in a while.  I hope to play with everyone on here for WCMD this weekend.  
Oh, I did play bingo last month and won a prize from ACOT!   It comes on Saturday, in time to play WCMD.

A lot going on, but too much to put into words.  But we are all great here.  I should scrap our granddaughter's wedding photos (from July), and a whole bunch more, so behind.

Hello Cherries!  

It’s been a weird week. Had a couple of really good days and a couple of bad days. Yesterday I woke up with brain fog so bad I couldn’t concentrate on anything! It’s never been quite that bad! I probably did too much on Tuesday. It was a pretty good day and I pushed myself too hard. I try to remember not to do that but I also need to take advantage of those days. lol!

Feeling a LOT better today. I’ll probably send the guys to town and stay home. I wanted to do another card and another layout yesterday but that didn’t happen. So I’d like to do something today. I have an idea for the pet challenge that I want to do. 

We also got our annual bonus for being an Alaskan citizen. It comes from the oil reserve profits. It’s nice but it should have been at least twice as much. Still it’s better than nothing! So I ordered a bunch of things from Amazon that we’ve been wanting. Now I need to find a working dryer…

I was going to say Good Morning, but it's zoomed on by...so Good Afternoon cherries! Work is getting insane....probably because my client was down for almost 2 days. So now emails are going out....reports are being generated...deadlines are approaching..it's the 1st of a new fiscal year....it's the 1st of the 4th quarter...whew! 

I went to HEB to get groceries today instead of tomorrow due to the rain that will start tonight and go thru the weekend. The bulk of it will occur tomorrow and I just didn't want to try to plan a trip to the store in the mess that is expected. We're expecting between 2-4 inches, up to 7 inches, over the course of the next few days. It all depends on if the front actually makes it this far south. If it stalls,then less rain. It's hot as **** here right now though.  93 but feels like 109. Humidity is 76%...dew point is 78. And it's hazy out too...so really hard to breathe. 

Anyways, just wanted to say Hi! Emails keep coming....

Howdy. Today is first day of 10 day weather advisory here for the late season heat spell we’re in. Ugh. No plans and no place to go. I did win a GC for one of last months challenges yippee and I have a lot of cherry points so I can pass time shopping at ACOT while stuck in the house! Hahaha

My boys do leave tomorrow for annual deer hunting trip and won’t b over for a while. So my younger son brought me all kinds of good foods. He worries I eat irresponsibly like a teenager!! You know lots of junk food and not enough protein. So now I have queso blanco salsa, chx andouille sausage and these spicy meatball poppers!

OK need to call and check in on my aunt at the care facility. She’s probably going to want me to come over but not going out in this heat. Take care and have a great Thursday.
