Hey Cherries. Sky had a good spleen check yesterday it looked really good on the ultrasound. She will have to go in for a procedure next month to have a look at her larynx. She will have to be sedated for that so we have it set up. 

No plans for me today other than my lawn guy is supposed to mow today and he has the huge mess from the storm to clean up first. I already gave him a heads up as to how bad it is so he knows he will need more time. I’ll continue to work on getting my music challenge up.

Beautiful day here and it's 83 degrees!  Last of the super warm days because next week is all fall temps!  Lots of harvesting and fertilizing going on around us.  Went for our flu shots this morning and made a stop at the farm stand for carrots and cabbage.  Sunday will be a soup day.  DH took his car for inspection and I will be headed out to meet youngest DD on her way home from work to pass off the shirt I got DGD yesterday for homecoming.  A quiet weekend ahead hopefully.  I want to get some of the card challenges done and plan to play along with whatever goes on tomorrow!  Have a good weekend Cherries!

Thank you cherries, for all the Happy Birthday wishes for my sweet nephew Jasper. I still can't get over that this boy is 7 today. He sure has come a long way.

Had the case of the lazies earlier. Still haven't swept/mopped the floors yet. Did clean bathrooms though!

We got 2 inches of rain overnight. People west of us got 14 inches of rain in 15 hrs. Insane! Expected to have more tonight and over the weekend. 

Anyways, back to work for me - busy busy!

Howdy. Hot and sunny - rinse repeat. Wishing we had some nice autumn weather or rain here already. Oh well! lol low 90’s today and then 6 days just over 100!

My biggie for today is washing my hair. WCMD here and lots of fall festivals this weekend around town to go to if I want to step outside. Hot weather makes me lazier which is saying a lot. Haha

Gorgeous here today too! We hit 82 and have a nice breeze. Took advantage of opening windows because it will probably be one of the last times until spring!

Hello Cherries!  

Yesterday was really busy! We contacted our wood guy and he came with a truckload of wood and his family. They’re really sweet people and I had fun visiting with the wife, the teenage boy and the 5 year old boy. The younger boy is one that will get your attention any way he can,. If he couldn’t talk to me he was making faces, making noise or talking over everyone. Sounds like my grandson Joe! But we had a nice visit until I got too chilly and had to go inside. While we were talking the guys unloaded the wood from the truck and then went down the hill to cut 3 of our trees which gave us almost another full load. So we’re set for wood for awhile! 

Before they came Steve and Mike went to town for mail, groceries and packages. They got home just before the wood arrived. Perfect timing! 

They also got me a dryer! It’s used but it supposedly works so I’m keeping my fingers crossed that it will still work. It’s exactly the same as the one I have so it should just get plugged in and turned on! I really hope it works!!! 

I have a big amazon package to deal with and then I’m not sure what I’ll did. Hopefully I can make some cards while I’m doing laundry! lol!

They’re really sweet people and I had fun visiting with the wife, the teenage boy and the 5 year old boy. The younger boy is one that will get your attention any way he can,. If he couldn’t talk to me he was making faces, making noise or talking over everyone. Sounds like my grandson Joe! But we had a nice visit until I got too chilly and had to go inside. While we were talking the guys unloaded the wood from the truck and then went down the hill to cut 3 of our trees which gave us almost another full load. So we’re set for wood for awhile! 

Before they came Steve and Mike went to town for mail, groceries and packages. They got home just before the wood arrived. Perfect timing!
