Scrap a Day, October 4th
Hey Cherries. Lazy Sunday morning here. I worked on my mini album project yesterday and will work on it more today. I really need to revamp my work space as I have stuff everywhere and I need more room to spread out. Plus it is making it so that I cannot work on any other projects since I’ll be working on the mini album for quite a while. My long table is filled with new things that have come in and have to be put away so I need to work on cleaning that off and moving the mini album project over to it. Such are  the problems of a scrapper.

Have a great day Cherries.

Re: Scrap a Day, October 4th
I am making quite the mess on my desk, using my Cricut, and making cards.  I have finished 4 cards and have another one in progress.  Trying to clean as I go, but I'm really bad at that!  lol  My cleaning lady comes tomorrow, so I at least have to pick things up and put them in their spots.

Another gorgeous day, and I'm about to take my Dad to lunch since Mom is out of town. :)  Have a blessed day, Cherries!

Happy Sunday Cherries. Up early for a Target run now at home writing down the October Challenges. Played some of the WCMD games last night, so fun.  Finishing up laundry today and then headed over to my brother's house for my nephew's birthday get together.  The baby of the family is turning 16!!!  Yesterday started a little Christmas shopping during a Hobby Lobby run. feel like last year's Christmas stuff was just taken down.  I do not like how fast the years are passing!!!!  Will probably not scrap today but might tomorrow. Have a great day everyone.

Re: Scrap a Day, October 4th
Good Morning.  A little tired this morning after a successful Canadian Thanksgiving celebration last evening.  It was a delicious meal with great company.  Put the carcass in the slow cooker last evening and will have some yummy broth for soup.

This afternoon head to the bowling alley for the minion’s Birthday Party.  I am sure it will be fun.  I will cook a ham dinner on her real birthday.  She loves ham.

Got out for my walk.  A little chilly at 40 degrees.  But it is a beautiful autumn day out.

Hope to make a card or two in a little bit.

Happy Sunday!

Re: Scrap a Day, October 4th
Good morning cherries. I'm so thankful we have time to do the WCMD Challenges. And an extra day to play the games, which I did this morning while drinking coffee.

Boy, am I BEAT. Those boys wore me out. We got to my brother's house at noon and visited until lunch was ready. My brother grilled burgers. We ate, then moved onto presents. Jasper made out like a bandit! He always does! Then we sang HB, he blew out the candle (with Anton's help) and then we ate the cake. We usually leave about half an hour to an hour afterwards, but the rain started and didn't let up until after 7. So we all just hung out there. DH hung out with my brother and Anton, as Anton wanted to show DH his tablet and there was a game he wanted both of them play. It was cute. The other boys were busy with toys and watching Sonic. My SIL and I and SIL's sister just chatted away. Got home - it was almost 8pm. Got another 3 inches of rain that round, bringing our 3 day total to 6 inches (2 inches Thursday, 1 inch Friday, 3 inches Saturday).

Slept in this morning because we needed it. Doing laundry since I didn't do it yesterday. Played the WCMD Games and will be moving onto the challenges. Try to see how many I can get done today before reality hits tomorrow.

Hope y'all have a wonderful crafty day!

Re: Scrap a Day, October 4th
Cool and raining here today.  It's a lazy day for sure.  DH is watching football and I'm scrapping away.  We had a new scrapper at our table at last weekend's crop.  Super nice and she had the greatest light going!  Everyone was so impressed with it that the other 5 of us ordered one.  I actually ordered a smaller one and when it came I wasn't happy with the area it covered so I am saving it for DGD as a Christmas gift.  She will love it.  I ordered a larger one and it came this morning.  It is a half moon light used by nail salons.  Can I say, "game changer" for me?  The lighting is perfect and it folds in half and is very portable to take to crops.  It also has an attachment for phones.  Perfect for filming videos or watching videos.  It will be great for Friday afternoon You Tubes here at ACOT while I'm scrapping.  I'm sure at the next  one, there will  be many more of them!

Here it is and when I set it up, I will add another photo of it.

Ugh. 99 today and I have plans. Too hot and I am seriously considering cancelling. But since I seldom go anywhere but the grocery store lol, I suppose I should get it together and go. I also haven’t checked in on my aunt in a few days so should probably do that too. Heat leaves me more lethargic than usual which is saying a lot!

Have a decent Sunday.

Hello Cherries! 🍒

It’s been pouring again since early last night. There’s a gale out there but we’ve hardly had any wind here. In between the downpours it’s been a bit foggy. I just LOVE watching the fog!

I didn’t get to my room until late yesterday afternoon . But I got 3 cards finished and posted! I need another birthday card because the baby in our family Joe is turning 13 in 10 days! It’s hard to believe they’re all so grown up now!!!

I’m hoping to get downstairs soon so I can play more. I’ll try to work on the games too.

Hope you’re all having a fabulous Sunday!!!

Slow-moving, but getting cards done! I've done 5 WCMD Challenges and submitted 3 to each of the games (15 min-30 min-One Hour). Plus all 5 are for the DAR Project Patriot Committee. And still using that EP "Jingle All the Way" collection.

Needed a break from the Christmas cards, so dug deep into my Halloween stash and pulled out an old Photoplay collection that has a bunch of scraps.

It is!  Very light weight and portable.  Folds in half at the top where you see the phone.  Does you nail salon have these?

Re: Scrap a Day, October 4th
I finished 4 cards and started 2 between today and yesterday. I was enjoying playing with my new watercolors and brush pens, along with my Cricut. Feel like I did well, considering I had a bunch to do at home.  Wish I had more time to go outside and enjoy the weather, but hopefully, there will be time for that this week after school. :)
