Sorry, gals, it's been a busy weekend, but it is finally here!


For this June color challenge, I have been inspired by my brother's wedding. He got married yesterday! I designed the wedding invitations. When my sister-in-law told me she wanted to use pink (her favorite color) and North Carolina blue (my brother's favorite color) together, I thought, "What is this, a baby shower?" I didn't think I could make it work, but I was actually thrilled with the result. Adding in a little brown definitely helped.







So, for your challenge, I challenge you to combine pastel pink and light blue in a layout (but not a baby layout!). You can add in any other accent color you wish to make it work. Can't wait to see what you come up with! Post your layouts to this thread before midnight on June 30th, and I will pick a random winner to win a prize from my stash!

I chose to use this yellow background paper from Basic Grey - since it had pastel pink/blue mixed with it.

Beautiful invitation! I think that I am going to try this challenge. I have tons of pink stuff, but can I find the blue? Don't know. Haven't looked yet.

Here is mine, the colors scanned weird for some reason, the background is grey and the patterned paper is light blue and light pink.
