Hey Cherries. Nine years ago today a little 4lb. 9oz. preemie came into the world. She was so tiny. Today she is a beautiful nine year old girl who wears the same shoe size as me. I’ll be off to DD’s later this evening to celebrate sweet JJ’s birthday. Her card is done and I’ll be wrapping her presents today. And I’m going to wash all my towels and bring them to DD’s to dry while I am there. I’ll hang everything else but towels dry stiff as a board so I’ll put them in DD’s dryer.

Wow!  Can't believe JJ is 9!  Have a great time, Barb!

Today is my last day of "freedom."  Honestly, I'm a bit in mourning for this summer that went by so quickly, and the last 10 days have been brutal.  Looking forward to some nicer weather, though, I'll be stuck inside in my "cave" all day.  lol  Finishing up drawing my winners for the MMC's, mailing the prizes, and packing up my things to take to school tomorrow.

Good morning cherries. A big happy birthday to my oldest nephew Draven! He's 8 today! He's in school all week, so we're celebrating with him on Saturday. 

Yesterday wasn't too bad work-wise. Today, so far so good. Hoping for a good one. Skipped my walk this morning as the air quality wasn't the greatest. Had an early morning televisit with my PCP for a f/up. Will see her again in 3 months.

Howdy. Weather is the same, still working on my craft area mess but can actually see some clear spaces now, going nowhere and not expecting company, and last but not least Rosie & Simba really do not like one another. Lol. The doldrums of August. Hope September gets here soon!

Happy Birthday to JJ!!  She was only 1 oz. less than our preemie who is not 20 and 6'7".  Hope she has the very best birthday celebration!

It always goes by so fast! I can't believe you are going back already!

Finally getting a chance to check in..  Busy, busy here.  Sent DH out early for an Avis run and I went out to walk. I took grandson #2 to the middle school for his back to school orientation. He found his locker and worked on the lock a couple times and was good. Ran him home.  They had another sad event last night. His dad’s dad passed away last night just 6 weeks after his mum.  When I finally got home I started cleaning. 
Have been busy working on the grandson’s quilt, getting it cut out and now getting it put together. No time for scrapping..

Happy birthday to JJ!!!! Have a wonderful time Barb! My oldest grandson Noah was a preemie too. He was 4 lbs 6 oz. He’s now 22 and healthy as an ox!  When he was 3 days old he had a bowel obstruction that was the size of a quarter and 3 inches long. If he hadn’t been born early he would have been stillborn or would have died within hours after he was born. We’re so very glad that nurse saw something wrong and called the doctor!!!

Yay for having clear spaces! Too bad about Rosie and Simba. Maybe in time they’ll at least tolerate each other. Big changes for two alpha cats! September will be here before we know it!!!

Hey Cherries!  

Couldn't sleep last night so slept in late this morning. Had to light a fire last night and re light it again this morning. We went from sunny and almost 80 on Sunday to 60 and cloudy and foggy yesterday! It’s even cooler today but not foggy. 

It’s been very quiet here. I’m glad! And I finally figured out why I’ve been so sick here. What I thought was filtered water wasn’t filtered! So Steve’s going to bring me a filtered pitcher over later so I can use that. Boiling doesn’t take away whatever it is that makes me sick so I have to filter everything. Big hassle but it’s better than being so sick! 

I have a 2 page layout finished except for title and journaling and another 2 pager almost to that point too. Getting some old pictures scrapped finally.
