Autumn is here and decorations for the season are popping up everywhere! I'm looking forward to cooler temps and more time outdoors without sweating and over-heating. And...pumpkin spice, yummy for the tummy!
This month's challenge has 2 elements:
1. Make an easel card.
2. Use one of two color palettes:
a. Traditional fall colors like brown, orange, yellow, kraft, moss green
b. The "opposites" purple, orange, lime green, black (the modern Halloween colors)
One randomly selected winner will receive a $5 ACOT gift certificate.
GUIDELINES:
1. ONE card per cherry.
2. Create an easel card for a guy that features autumn color palette a or b.
3. You may combine with ONE other monthly challenge that allows combining, the weekly card challenge on the ACOT blog, or a prompt challenge that allows combining.
4. Your entry must be a new card never before posted here.
5. Please post your card here and in the gallery by 11:59 on October 31, 2026.
PARTICIPANTS:
I look forward to seeing your creations!
Sorry yo b so dumb but what exactly is an easel card?
An easel card is one that mails flat, but the recipient opens it to find that the card props up for display. I will post an example (sorry, I just was leaving for vacation when I posted the challenge and didn't have time to make a sample).Charleneanne wrote: ↑Thu Oct 01, 2026 4:03 amSorry to be so dumb, but what exactly is an easel card?
