I created a pocket on the back of this layout to hold the card that Beth sent me. The little white tap at the top is attached to the card.
The journaling says:
I hadn’t been on the www.acherryontop.com message board in months. When life gets stressful, I often retreat, leaving important parts of my life hanging. It was during this time that got a homemade card from Beth, letting me know that she and the other ladies on the board missed me. I didn’t even make it to my dorm room before I started crying. Beth had even posted the card to the ACOT gallery so that people could leave messages for me. Of course, the tears started pouring yet again as I read everyone’s sweet posts. I had never met any of these people in person, yet they took the time to write me little messages. A lot has changed since I opened that card. I haven’t taken any more hiatuses, and Beth has become a best friend. I don’t want to think about a life without her.
