Layered punches create this stunning project. Designed By Dana DeCarlo for EK Success
DIRECTIONS:
To make the Easter Card, use the following:
Floral Chain Large Edger Punch, Double Embossed Dotted Lace Edger Punch
Adhesive, Paper Trimmer, Scissors, White Cardstock, Patterned Paper Black Rhinestones
1. Fold the white cardstock in half
2. Cut the egg shape but leave about 1.5" uncut so that the card will open.
3. Take some of your favorite patterned papers and punch strips to fit the front of the card.
4. Finish by adding rhinestones to the centers of the flowers.
5. Don't be afraid to make your card different depending on what items you have on hand.
To make the Paper Easter Basket, use the following punches:
Daisy Chain Edger Punch, Scalloped Circle Chain Edger Punch, Floral Chain Large Edger Punch, Double Embossed Dotted Lace Edger Punch, Scalloped Scallop Edger Punch
You will also need Patterned Paper, Paper Trimmer, Adhesive, Black Rhinestones, Yellow Buttons, White String
1. Score your pink dot paper at 4” and 8”, then turn your paper 90 degrees and score at 4” and 8” once again.
2. Starting at one corner, cut one 4” slit along your score line. Do this with the other 3 corners.
3. Fold these pieces toward the center of the basket. Glue each piece of cardstock on the inside of the next, until your basket is assembled.
4. Punch a scallop border from the green paper and glue around the top of the basket.
5. Punch a floral chain border from the yellow paper and glue on top of the green border.
6. From 1-1/4x12” pink paper, punch scalloped scallop along both edges. Adhere 1/4x12” green strip on back (underneath) side, and punch scalloped circle chain from yellow paper to adhere to top. Attach to your basket, adding buttons to each side.
7. Add rhinestones or bling to the centers of the flowers.
8. Now for the fun part -- fill your basket with grass, eggs, and goodies!
